Ms Derricourt studied art in South Africa, worked in Germany, lived in England and finally settled in Sydney, Australia.

The most recent tour was by year 12 students from Northside Christian College and their Home Economics teacher, Leonie Purcell. This is the fourth visit from the college and each year has a similar outcome. An enthusiastic group of residents celebrated the launch of the Summer Smart Garden competition on Friday 16th January. Chris Leonard, the guest speaker, had many gems of information and tips for the entrants to give them the added advantage in the upcoming competition. An end of year celebration was held for residents to enjoy an afternoon of fun in the Kuringgai Park.

Kids enjoyed an inflatable soccer field, face painting, oversized games and much more. There was also a BBQ, frozen yoghurt and entertainment offering a social event for residents to catch up with their neighbours.
