Private dining rooms for groups of 30, 45 and 65 call for arrangements. Succulent sea scallops wrapped in smoked bacon and seared in a delicate brown butter lemon sauce. House tuna recipe served on wheat bread with cheddar, sliced tomato and fresh lettuce. Layered sliced turkey breast, bacon and tomato on a double decker toasted white bread with mayo.

Chopped grilled chicken tossed with chopped romaine, shaved parmesan and house Caesar dressing wrapped in a spinach tortilla. Herb cream cheese, avocado, tomato, cucumber, mozzarella and lettuce in a spinach tortilla.

With choice of french fries, rice or salad. My favorite is probably the ribeye steak I spend a couple minutes just enjoying the aroma, before digging in! Was a little disappointed in the "opentable" experience.

I signed up, and had confirmed, a 6pm appointment, and it was a special occasion. We arrived at EXACTLY the appointed time, and ended up sitting in the bar for 20 minutes, waiting for our table. But once we got our table, the experience went predictably well for the duration. The service was great. The steaks were excellent. No way this was worth what I paid. Greta place for a great meal! I dine at lsb often during the legislative session and always have an enjoyable dining experience. Last week was able to introduce my daughter to lsb.

After dinner she stated it was the best prime rib ever. I have to agree. Great steaks and prime rib at great prices. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. They have an extensive wine list.

This was a good choice for a date with my wife. The atmosphere reminds me of a Midwest supper club. You can't go wrong ordering any of the steaks! Totally enjoyed the special Mothers Day dessert strawberry, cinnamon, ice cream.

Service was very good, server was attentive to our needs, food was awesome, a bit on the pricey side but so worth it. The food is pretty consistent in quality and they have a great bar area with live music.

This place is just tired, old dingy carpet, overcooked steaks 2 out of 3 and for the price you pay it is over-hyped and not worth it. Very good steaks, perhaps the best ribeye in town - properly cooked to order. It is a go to place for us on a regular basis. My son and I stopped in for dinner while we were visiting Boise State University. The food and service were outstanding. Fresh salad bar with good soup started the meal.

We followed that with the crab cakes. For our entrees my son had the Salmon and I had the 20 oz Prime Rib. I've been to Lowery's in Beverly Hills, Five Crowns in Orange County and other places that specialize in Prime Rib. This will be a return trip for us the next time we are in Boise. Quality has always been very good. They try to meet special needs. You have established an attitude for the employees of be ready to go out of your way to please the patron when you feel its appropriate type of atmosphere.

For that, we thank you very much! My favorite steak house in town. As good or better than the others that are 2 to 3 times the price. Our go to for a special occasion dinner. My wife and I visit sometimes during the day and are very happy with lunch, but this visit was an evening visit. We visited LSB with family at Christmas time and requested one of the upstairs booths.

I used them for the two visits. It worked out perfectly! This visit my wife and I requested upstairs, but we arrived early and no seating was yet available. We chose not to wait the 15 minutes and asked to be seated in a downstairs booth. We were lucky the circumstances turned out that way. I walked upstairs to look at seating after we had been seated downstairs and was happy we were not upstairs. Somebody has made a management decision to cram in a bunch of extra table, where before there were two booths and maybe three or four tables.

Someone decided ruining atmosphere to maximize profit was the correct decision. We will not ask for upstairs again, unless it is a group and we want one of the booths, maybe. Our booth downstairs was fine. I need to remember to tip the girl who sat us.

I usually tip the girl who seats us, but failed this time. Mike was our server and he was excellent. If we needed him, he was there. My wife and I order the same wine each time paired with the bacon wrapped filet and full lobster. The food is always excellent. We even take some home for sandwiches the next day. We are discriminating customers, which translates, if we don't like a place, we don't go there. We have many dining options in the Treasure Valley, but we like LSB.

Kate is still our favorite, maybe because she was our first. We arrived before the restaurant opened, but were told we could wait at the bar and they would seat us as soon as they could. We had a lovely time at the bar with a very nice bartender. Our table was made ready and we moved to the dining room and had a wonderful, leisurely dinner.

We ordered steaks, lobster, lamb shanks and prime rib. Everything was delicious, including the dessert we shared. I would highly recommend it for special occasions.

Great service and food at fair prices. Our party of five persons ate prime ribs and ribeyes; both delicious and cooked just right. I'll definitely add this place to my list of repeat visits. We really enjoyed our experience. We will defiantly be going again. This restaurant has been in Boise a very long time, apparently since They are know for their prime rib but I don't usually eat prime rib so can't review that one. Service was very good.

We sat upstairs and it was very noisy a little hard to communicate with our friends. The restaurant could use an update in their decor. Even putting white tablecloths might help. The food is excellent. Prime rib was very tender and delicious. The au jus was a mite salty. Noting we were celebrating, they brought us a nice dessert.
